Sidharth Malhotra Hasn't Met Alia Bhatt Post Their Breakup, Says There Is So Much History

Bollywood is not just about films, glamour and glitz. No actor or actress has escpaed the conjectures of being involved with someone. And the one place where we become privy to the inside scoops of the industry is Karan Johar's show, Koffee with Karan. In its latest episode, Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur were the guests and of course a lot was talked about their personal relationships.
Sidharth Malhotra, at one point, was dating his debut co-star, Alia Bhatt. But all didn't go well between the two, and eventually they split up. When Karan Johar asked Sidharth Malhotra if he has met Alia Bhatt post their breakup, the Gentleman actor replied, "We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history."
Sidharth further added, "There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories." Wow! That's quite mature and millenials should learn from him on how to only take positivity out of negative things.
Alia and Sidharth were once quite serious about each other. The rumours of the two dating each other started immediately after the release of their debut film, Student of the Year. Sidharth once revealed in an interview about their bond and shared, “Of course. We started our journey together, we have done two films. Varun, Alia and I have a deep connect. We've shared many emotions and experiences together. So the bond will always remain.”
On being asked if he would work with Alia again in a film, the Kapoor and Sons actor replied, “People keep telling us that we should do a film together. But let's see. It's a matter of us getting the right script and a director like Karan Johar. Because only he can manage that. But now he's doing Takht. Everyone is busy with their own journeys."
