We have shown a real relationship, both of us had to feel it: Alia Bhatt on shooting Gully Boy with Ranveer

Ahead of Gully Boy release, Alia Bhatt has revealed how it felt to switch on and off during shooting the movie with Ranveer Singh.

One of the most anticipated releases of the year Gully Boy is almost here. Releasing this Valentine’s Day, the Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt starrer is poised to rock the hearts of the audiences and at the box office alike.
Although Ranveer and Alia have only been seen together on television screens in ad campaigns and commercials, the two will be seen spilling their magic together on the 70mm screen for the first time.
“It was interesting because even on set when we had our characters in hand, we stayed within that. We didn’t fuss about it too much. Both of us would be quiet and talk every now and then between shots. But as two actors, there was a solid give and take, which worked well for our respective characters. Hopefully, people will feel that connection when they see the two of us together on screen. We have shown a real relationship. And for that to come across, both of us had to feel it. Ranveer and I are mad enough to get lost in a shot and believe that we are Murad and Safina.”
Produced by Excel Entertainment co-founders Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the film would also see Kalki Koechlin in a pivotal role. On the film front, Ranveer would next be seen in ’83 (2020), Alia in Brahmastra (2019) and together they will be reuniting on-screen for Takht (2020.)

Shah Rukh Khan reveals why he cannot work with Akshay Kumar: I go to sleep when he wakes up

Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have been in the industry for over 25 years now, but the two stars have never collaborated for a project. SRK, for the first time, opened up on the real reason of them not working together.

If one is Khiladi Kumar, the other is the Badshah of romance. But Bollywood fans are yet to see these two superb actors come together in one frame. Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan made their Bollywood debut in the early 90s, but never have the two been cast together in the last two decades. And when Shah Rukh was asked about this in a recent interview, the 53-year-old actor had a practical as well as hilarious reply.
Known for his tongue-in-cheek humour, Shah Rukh had a perfect reply to those asking him if he will ever collaborate with Akshay Kumar for a film. "What do I say to this? I don't wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me."
It is no secret that Akshay wakes up early and manages his schedules with precision. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, is a nocturnal and loves to work at night.
Shah Rukh, who was last seen in Zero, added that even if they are ever cast together in a film, they would never see each other on the film sets.
